THE COURSES

Who can participate?

The practice of the Zigrolling does not require any particular physical skills.

It is meant for everybody as from 13 years old, namely, for beginners (individuals, groups, societies, companies etc.) to intermediates and advanced (dancers, acrobat schools, sport clubs etc.)

What is the Zig?

The Zig is a spherical construction of aluminium.

The Zig Roller (person handling the Zig) manipulates the Zig by moving his body in the interior arcaded bars in order to reach different poised positions. Therefore, the mobility of the Zig and its development capacities depend on the series of the Zig-roller’s movements.

Objectives of these courses

  1. Discover new sensations and develop a feeling of control over the spatial environment.

  2. Acquire a perception of space and objects in movement.
  3. Acquire self-awareness (when practising solo-Zig)
  4. Strengthen the cohesion of a group (when practicing group-Zig from 2 to 4 trainees): The collective practice of the Zig leads to a game which develops feelings for cooperation, coordination, mutual assistance, exchange, physical dialogue, respect for the others’ movements…

Our courses are easily adapted to your needs and expectations. We offer a variety of themes:

The game
There are many possibilities of playing with the Zig: racing, swinging, relaying, rocking, toping, synchronising (with many Zigs)...
Zigrolling is a sportive and amusing activity; it reflects the symbiosis of body and spirit for dancing and moving.
